Solway Fred Firestone, age 103, beloved husband of the late Jessie, nee Edelstein: cherished father of Susan (Frederic) Hahn, Deborah (Paul) Rubenstein and Jeanne (James) Ruhl: proud and loving grandfather of Frederic “Rick” (Jean) Hahn, Ari Mulvaney, Jesse Ruhl, MIchelle (Colm) Egan, & Rachel (Andrew) Marks and great grandfather of Jacob and Charles Hahn: dearest brother of Nathan (the late Millie) Firestone, William (the late Roberta) Firestone and the late Hadassah (the late Samuel) Baskin, Rachel (the late Donald) Korshak, Bernard (the late Betty) Firestone: Sol was a loving uncle to his many caring nieces and nephews. Chapel service Thursday 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
